Tiffanie's Blog
In this day and age we have a lot of technology at the tip of our fingers. I believe that there are pro's and con's in technology. However I think the pro's out way the con's. I don't like coming home to see my 13 year old son on his PS3 playing Call of Duty online, or texting on his phone. But at the same time I will be the first to admit that him having a cell phone is a huge convenience for me. If he decides he is going somewhere I can text him and know when I can expect him home and so on. Also, if it weren't for technology I would not be writing this blog right now for the online course I am taking this summer. There are many advantages with the web, smart phones, tablets, etc. All of these different products are very useful and needed. We all have to change with the times and evolve into a new era.

ReplyDeleteYes there are pro's and con's and I agree the pro's have it. The gaming was a issue when my son was younger too. He turned 21 two weeks ago and I no longer have to monitor the usage. I love having a cell phone. If I have a problem on the road I can call the AAA and get help and call my husband to let him know I will be late.
One bad thing a bout being able to get in touch with people all the time is you know when they are ignoring you for several days. Oh, I am sorry, I didn't get your message, does not fly very often and then they have to show me proof. Well I guess I am probably not that picky. I personal y do not get enough calls to ignore anybody. They all seem important to me. Maybe its because I am an empty nester and am used to more activity. I need to get more proficient at the texting though. I send weird funny messages that only get a WHAT? response from my kids. I wonder what the next leap in technology will be, any guesses?
Kim,
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for the drones to come out. That will definitely be a new experience.
