Blog # 4 Where do we go from here?
Wow!! I did it all by myself! No I am not talking about a child who just learned something new like tying their shoes or riding their bike(which is a huge accomplishment), but I am talking about my 32 year old self who is as giddy as a little girl for customizing my own blog so it doesn't look so boring! All it took was some time, a lot of patience, and experimenting. This is what I have been doing the last two weeks and I feel like I have accomplished so much. I know, I know it doesn't seem like much, but to someone who has never blogged before its amazing. Now it's time to move onto Twitter, LinkedIn, and other technology sources that are available. Once I learn these I will have accomplished some of my goals for my PLN. As I have said before, learning different tasks will always help me improve so I can take what I have learned and share with others. Technology is becoming more and more productive in our daily lives at work and at home. It is convenient and efficient. Once you get the hang of it, technology seems pretty simple. Pay bills, shop, even read the newspaper online. It's pretty much endless what the internet offers us. As we create our own PLN we can combine all that we have previously learned and what we are continually learning. That is what I like about building my own PLN, it never stops expanding. The more we learn the more we can share. Our society is continually learning and sharing, it is who we are. Although there are trials and tributes,(I have had many) in the end we all come out ahead, it just takes a little time and some practice.

ReplyDeleteI think is great that you get excited about learning new technology. The excitement is the reward that will keep pushing yourself to overcome any obstacle. I am finding out that none of this new technology is easy and it could be very difficult when it’s the first using it. I also share the same ideas about technology making our lives easier once we master this tools. I think technology will get more complex and we need to keep up with new advancements if we what to succeed. Thank you for your thought.

ReplyDeleteYour blog design and colors are amazing, I really admire your patience. I believe that doing things ourselves by trying and experimenting is what makes us better learners. I have never had a blog before this class, and I felt the same way you did. Before taking this class, I already had some experience with site like LinkedIn and Twitter, and let me assure you that blogging was a bit more difficult at first, but since you did this blog, I’m sure you will do great with Twitter and LinkedIn and accomplish some of you PLN goals.
It is exciting when you learn something new! There is so much technology around us that it can be overwhelming. Keep exploring and finding those things that remind you of those amazing moments when you first learned to ride a bike or tied your shoes. There are many tools to create amazing things. I look forward to seeing your personality come out in the widgets and posts you add to your blog.
